I've had a chance to use some of the Liveroom Audio's new snare samples, and I am blown away with not only the quality and range of snares sampled, but the depth of velocity layers and mic and room options. I've long been a fan of the live room at The Ranch Production House (and often will take bands there to track drums), so opening up a cool sounding snare sample and being able to audition a range of room mics in different positions opens up a whole new creative workflow to augmenting drums recorded elsewhere, and they sound extremely natural and 3-dimensional.
